I think they missed the boat with their 57K special. Supply is building up a bit now, the initial early adopters frenzy seems to have abated a bit, and plenty of dealers are selling for MSRP. The trick is to find one of those dealers and tell them exactly what, if any, options you want installed before the car arrives. It is possible (and really not that hard in some places) to get an ASpec/Tech for $37K + tax/tags.

I hope these dealers who try to mark these cars up a ton end up sitting with them forever and that Acura/Honda gets on them for violating company policy about selling above MSRP.

Good news for folks interested in the Integra; a lot of dealerships are now swimming in them, and even in California they've been being sold at MSRP. I just picked one up today, which is a far cry from July when my local dealership was asking for $56K for one...

Yes I have noticed that as well on the East Coast-production of the Integra has been relatively robust especially compared to Civic and Accord which are scarce as hens teeth. I am sure MSRP is easily achievable.

There do seem to be more generally available now, but when I recently checked in our city's two dealers, they had only a few in stock, mostly CVTs. It may vary by region/dealer.

No one should be paying more than MSRP though.

My local dealer here in the LA valley has 11 6MTs in inventory. I have no idea what they are asking for them. I plan on making a visit this weekend to test drive one. Looking at their overall new car inventory (see below) it appears that Acura is right now primarily building MDX and Integra models. One interesting tidbit, of the 25 Integras they have in inventory 18 are Apec Tech.

Integra. 25
MDX. 51
RDX. 2
TLX. 7

The MDX has been piling up on lots here and I have seen some ads for discounts.

One of the local dealerships here is now selling 6MT Integras for $1500 under sticker. They can't seem to move them, which makes this a hell of a deal considering it's now cheaper than the street price for a Civic Si locally...

What does the SI go for in your area? Here in the Philly area they are listing for just under $30K and don't seem to be moving too well. And yes I am also seeing some deals on the Integra now.

What is an acceptable amount of dealer add-ons? I just looked at an 2023 A-Spec manual, and their mandatory add-ons were $850. No other market adjustments.

The only acceptable amount is the amount you would have bought anyways. In my case, the mandatory add-ons were the floor mats and wheel locks, both of which I would have gotten anyways. If I didn't plan on getting those, I would ask them to remove it, and if they refused, I would take my business elsewhere.

Agree. Ours was equipped with floor mats and splash guards, the only extras we wanted. Find a place that will sell you the car for no more than MSRP and add only those options you want. If you're looking at a car in stock and don't want all or part of the $850 add-ons, tell them you'll buy the car at MSRP if they'll remove the add-ons you don't want. Never, ever, ever pay for crap like nitrogen in tires, paint or interior "treatments" and the like.

Good luck picking one up. We really like ours.

Thanks. $850 includes winter mats and trunk mat, locking lugs, and splash guards. With that said, I suppose all of these things would be nice to have. Only exception being locking lugs.

That seems fair, especially if they are things you want. I actually would have included the locking lugs but they were back ordered. I'll just pick them up online when they become available.

I think you'll really enjoy owning the car. It's fun to drive, has a great sound system and gets great mileage. Ours is Performance Red/Orchid, and we've been getting lots of compliments and stares (I hope in a good way)!
