I have an Injen CAI on my 06 RSX-S...it doesnt seem to fit just right, the wheel rubs the piping when turned all the way to the right, and the filter sits snug right on the inside of the bumper...is this normal?

 

Is the piping pushed all the way in at the t/b? did you put the car in 5th gear before you started the install? Mine was a bit snug when I put my bumper on but I had fogs on. make sure the filter is pushed on all the way to.

 

Yeah most people have some trouble at first, just make sure its pushed all the way in and also make sure your installing it with fifth gear engaged. Because once you get it to fit then a lot of people can shift into first third or fifth because the pipe is in the way.

wow, that makes a lot of sense. I didn't have it in 5th when installed...and i've noticed all my top gears are a bit of a struggle to get in (1st, 3rd, 5th). I am going to re-install in fifth and make sure it is pushed in all the way...i appreciate the feedback!
