Hello all - The ride in my 2002 RSX has been incredibly bumpy lately even when driving over very small potholes and speed bumps. I can be going 10 MPH over a tiny pothole and the car feels like it's getting tossed in the air. The tires seem okay. I'm thinking it's shocks/struts? Thoughts?

Also, there is a loud banging noise coming from the trunk when I go over speed bumps. I looked back there and it doesn't seem like anything is loose. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

check fo leaking struts. rear struts that is

 

sounds like a blown shock to me

 

So it sounds like the upper support housing cushions are worn in the front struts.... makes a loud boom noise over bumps/potholes?

 

check your struts, had the same problem with mine
