Hi Everyone, just got an '06 RSX Type S and I'm in love! Though it's early days, I have noticed that she slips out of 3rd gear every so often. Any ideas of whether or not this is a sign of a problem to come?

Probably a worn linkage

 

If it's solidly in third gear and pops out for no reason, that is a definite problem with your transmission. If you try to shift into third and it doesn't go in to gear all the way or kicks back out, that may be something that can be resolved with a better synchromesh transmission fluid, like Amsoil or Royal Purple.
