04 RSX Type-S engine Coolant sensor replacement help
Hey guys,
My RSX Type-S needs it's Engine Coolant Sensor replaced according to the code it's throwing P0118.
I'm no mechanic and I have very little experience working on cars but I want to know should I let a local mechanic do this for $111 or is it something I could do and only have to buy the part for like $27?
Where is it located on a Type-S?
Thanks for the help guys!

Acura Fanboy
From this page, it is #19 locate on the drivers side end of the cylinder head:
Water Pump (Type-S)
I have not replaced this on mine, but based on its location, you will likely need to remove the Air Cleaner housing to get to it.

Thanks guys! My buddy replaced it for me yesterday. Good news is it did fix my start up issue and now starts up properly, also my heat gauge works right. Unfortunately my check engine light now says I need to replace my Engine Knock Sensor which I just ordered and should have within 5 days, any experience with replacing that? I read that if you get under the card it's pretty simple

Done
I got my Engine coolant sensor replaced by my buddy. It was actually not too bad, it's on the right side of the engine right next to where your stock air intake may be. Just a bunch of sensors though lol
