Reset ABS Sensor on 2014 ILX
Reset ABS Sensor on 2014 ILX
I had a cylinder misfire code (P0303) come up on my 2014 Acura ILX after replacing the radiator. When I tried running the car after the replacement, the christmas tree of warning lights came up (ABS, VSA, Brake, Hill Assist, Power Steering) and the engine was rough. Per the code I got, I tested to check the spark plugs & coils. I narrowed it down to a coil and replaced the bad one. This cleared the code and the engine is running great. However, the christmas tree of lights is still present. I tried disconnecting the battery and then connecting it after an hour, but they are still there.
I saw that older generation Acuras have a work around to reset the ABS sensor to clear everything (the connector for OBD scanner and jumping pins, etc) without taking it to the dealer, but I'm not sure if this actually still works or not on my 2014 ILX.
Will this work on my car? If not, is there another way to go about doing this without taking it to the stealership?
Thanks.
