Posting this for my friend, she has an ILX with an auto tranny and says that while cruising at about 50 MPH and the car goes to shift that it feels like it wants to stall. She took it to the dealer and one of the service people agreed that it felt weird but one of the higher level guys said that it was normal.

Have you experienced this? Is it truly normal?

 

We have a 2014 ILX (auto) and it does not do this at all....IN fact, how can any dealer say that a car that feels like it will stall on shifting is normal?! That is, if she truly describes the symptons well...
