2016 ILX Bluetooth Module Battery Drain

Hi all, after doing some troubleshooting due to dead battery issues i found that FUSE 29 BACKUP in the engine fuse box was the culprit of my parasitic battery drain when my car was turned off overnight. My suspect is that this is linked to the BLUETOOTH MODULE from what i heard is a common issue on these cars draining the battery as it never shuts off.
Now, where exactly is this BLUETOOTH MODULE located? Id like to unplug it and find out if its 100% my issue.
This is on an ILX A SPEC 2016. Anyone had a similar issue?

Thanks!

That control unit sits under the center console area on the left side. Basically it is directly under the plastic panel that your right knee leans against. Sits just above the carpet next to the transmission shift lever. Not sure if your ILX has the built in Acura Link telematics or not but the control unit controls that also. The cellular radio is included for communication back to Acura Link servers for remote access with the mobile app if you have this feature. I mention this because this is tied in with the NAV system and I don't know what other issues you may have if you unplug it. This unit will have three connectors on it and one of these is an antenna connector that goes to the shark fin antenna. I believe the Bluetooth only one has two connectors (no antenna) Vehicles without this just have the hands free (HFL) bluetooth stuff.

Oh and to add a little about the power usage. The Telematics Control Unit sleeps often and basically powers off if the vehicle has not been used for about 7 days. Once the main vehicle battery has started to run low, it also powers down and will send messages back to Acura indicating this. If you have AciraLink, then you will also have the connect and emergency buttons up.on the headliner. There is a red/green indicator LED there. One you shut off the car and close the doors, the light will go off soon after indicating that the unit is "sleeping" and waiting for either a command from Acura Servers or an event such as opening a door. I think the Bluetooth only unit just powers off with the car under normal conditions. -- parasitic power draws can be hard to find at times.
