2013 ILX Left Rear Door Lock
Hi Acurazine folks,
TLDR: My 2013 ILX Driver's Side Rear Door Lock/Unlock doesn't work electronically, but can still be locked/unlocked via the manual switch on the inner door handle. Need advice and/or troubleshooting suggestions.
Longer version:
I'm hoping you guys will be able to help me with suggestions and/or fixes for a problem I just realized I have.
I have a 2013 ILX. Recently when pressing the keyless lock button on the outside door handle, it stopped beeping.
I also noticed that when driving, when I reached the speed it would normally auto-lock the doors, it tried every time I reached that speed, rather than just the first time.
Eventually, I figured out that it's the door locking mechanism on the driver's side rear door. It no longer responds to the electronic lock/unlock signals.
However, the manual lock/unlock on the inner door handle still works fine.
If I lock the door, then the auto-lock-at-speed function stops trying to lock the doors every time I get up to speed, so the car is still aware of the locked/unlock state, at least.
I looked at fuse B9 and B33, both 15A, but they both look normal/OK.
Is there anything else I should look at? Different fuses?
Does anyone have any likely-suspect things I should check? I haven't taken the door interior panel off yet.
Any tips/ideas/thoughts welcome!
Thanks,
GrangerX
