IL4s 2016 ILX-Aspec

Yeah your right, >_< I've had them on the softer settings (end link mounting hole further away from pivot point)
Lol, I coulda sworn the eibach paperwork said the opposite, maybe it was printed wrong lol.
I've since gone back and re mounted the rear sway end links on my 00 Civic (ASR Rear Sway) to its stiffer setting, and will be swapping mounting positions on the ILX later today to try it out.

Great so u swapped them to the hard setting! U feel the difference ?
I'm happy with the car but need a small turbo/ supercharger for lower RPM.
If u hear anything about hondata pro flash or any ecu mod please let me know.

Yeah a bit of boost for extra low rpm grunt and freeway pulling power would make this car really come alive. As there's a tuning solution and boost available, il jump right on it.
I'm actually under the ILX now making the changes. Going to try just the rear bar first since I felt it needed more rotation in a turn.

Think you got it backwards The new Aspec skirt does come stock on the Aspec ILX. We shouldn't call any of the accessory pieces "Aspec" since they fit all ILX models. I believe they're labeled that way in the configurator to illustrate the fact that the kit is different for Aspec models in that it's cheaper and missing the optional skirt.
Correct. Though I wouldn't count the base skirt as a skirt as it seems to be part of the body panel. And I bet OP's skirt would fit yours and '16 base ILX's as it looks to be tacked-on (in a good way).
In a nutshell...without the F/R kit, the Aspec skirts are a better choice as they line up with the stock character lines better. For Aspec owners with the F/R kit, it boils down to whether the stock Aspec skirts can be removed to avoid that skirt-on-skirt look (if not, keep the stock skirt)

There are only 2 options for the skirts,
• Accessory
• A-Spec
If you bought an A-Spec, you have the higher more aggressive skirts that match the front/rear underbody spoilers. If not, then you can only purchase the accessory kit. There is no such thing as "skirt on skirt" here. Moreover, you cannot purchase the A-Spec rear decklid spoiler, only the accessory decklid spoiler without the chrome strip.

Greetings all, I just wanted to clear the air on this subject of the side underbody spoiler (skirts).

Any pics showing the differences would be appreciated.
The spoiler comment is not true. The 2013 hybrid spoiler has the same exact chrome strip. This spoiler was not made for the aspec but rather a hand me down form the previous hybrid versions that didnt sell well.... Or at least i dont believe they did...
::waits for sales numbers to be posted::

I think ILX.cel may be right. On the Acura Accessories app, it doesnt show the A-Spec spoiler nor the A-Spec side under body spoiler.
The Non A-Spec spoiler looks more aggressive IMO id take that one over the chrome strip A-Spec

The ILX accessory spoiler has been the same since 2013.
The ILX Aspec spoiler is the previous ILX hybrid spoiler just hand-me-downed.
This is the Hybrid 2013
And this is the aspec
As for the side skirts I really cant say exactly.
I mean I am sure he is right in that no one is actually putting one side skirt over the other side skirt.
Though on acura's site it would confuse one if you pay close attention because it shows the Aspec having the aspec skirt which comes stock then when you add the aspec kit (which is advertised as just a front and rear kit) it adds the ACCESSORY side skirt ontop of the Aspec.
If you click a non aspec version of the ILX I believe it will be missing both skirts. Adding the kit to that one is where it gets confusing because Im not sure if adding the aspec kit to the non aspec would be getting the aspec or accessory skirts since the aspec kit here is clearly advertising the accessory skirts.

Funny how no one likes the hybrid spoiler but slap an aspec logo to it and it's worth something.

Another reason I couldn't find the spoiler is because i was searching for it as an accessory, acura does not sell the A-Spec/hybrid spoiler as an accessory on Any of there sites. On all the sites i noticed i was clicking accessories not auto parts. I guess i need to brush up on my searching skills.
