Looks like you got the pics posted in correct order on this thread lol. That was a clean integra and still looked good after all these years and miles! And the new ILX looks great also!
Yeah I wish I got to see my integra after selling it. I dont a couple IG searched and Honda-tech searches but found nothing.
When the owner took it off my hands he had plans to paint it molino red.
BG33P was the best.
Mine was kidnapped and stripped. So sad.
Partial consolation was that the pricks didn't get the engine. It was recovered with the car when they were both discovered in someone's garage. I haven't been given any more details than that from the cops. 👎
Sad to look at pics of her knowing what she used to look like.
I let a local enthusiast buy it from me and my insurance at cost and he plans to restore it.
'96 GSR? Looks super clean. How could you delete all your pictures?
Looks like you took care of it.
hahaha I deleted my old flickr thinking I didnt need it. Then saw all my pics on my build thread die. Didnt realize I used so many pics from the old flickr account. I may have more if I dig up my old HD.
And it's a 94 actually! Note the front bumper. It was just an LS. I put a decent amount of money into it. Paint was starting to fade. But it had Function Form coilovers. DC sports full cat back. BWR bracing up front as well rear upper and lower bracing. Eibach rear sway. K&N oversized filter with velocity stack. Plus cosmetic goodies.
Not much but it was a fun car to throw parts at while I learned in my college auto tech class. I heard no end of grief from the teacher who was interested in American muscle/ speed boats.
Bought it for 3k. Went to sell it on craigslist for the same 3k almost a decade later and got a TON of interest. Put up a new ad for 3.5K and still got a tone of interest. However craigslist users are a bunchy of idiots and feel they belong to a craigslist community. Some of them saw my original ad and therefor felt I was ripping people off by asking more when I got a lot of interest. They literally flagged my second ad and tore it down. They explained to me that I was already asking well above KBB value and as a community they have the right to flag "rip off posts" if they feel my asking price is too steep. Bunch of morons!!
Basically I had 14 responses to my 3k ad and another 10 to me 3.5k ad. I ended up selling to the first guy who got back to me with a day hed come check it out. He responded to me 3k ad. I told him I had a few others interested at 3.5k. In response to that he said he could do 3.1k but couldnt go any higher. I felt for him and said that was good enough. I took the 3.1 and forgot about the people interested at 3.5k. I was happy with that decision and he was super happy to drive away with the car.
Wow, that's tough. I can't believe you have footage of your beloved Teg driving off with new owner. Hearing the sound of the muffler, yet your not the one pressing down on the pedal.
I'd cry if it were me watching that video.
Bet then again, you have one of the best ILX's on the forums right? Can't be too upset. You basically have a 2013 Integra.

Gaah!
Thank you! And did you hear the little kid shouting bye?! She was actually saying bye to her cousins getting in their car as my integra drove off.
It was bitter sweet seeing and hearing it take off into the night; never to be seen or heard again. But remembering the look on the dudes face in my passanger seat when I took it around the corner before letting him test drive it made the difference for him. He needed a car. He was super pumped to get mine. And I got 100 over my initial asking price which just paid for a bomb dinner that night and drinks that night with friends. So all in all it was a welcome change!
And Im sure youll say the same after you start loving your ILX. Its a head tuner on the roads and I have more than once been asked how much it cost or simply what the hell it was.
