Hello people. Subjective question for you... how much do you think a new ILX is worth? I ask because I am thinking of buying one and I would like a good price point for the car. I think we all agree that the car is under powered, so how much would YOU pay, and be happy with? I'm thinking of getting the 2.0 with premium package.
Thanks!
Thanks!
May be in the market soon for a 2nd car and was interested in this car before I got my vw GLI. It came out just a little too late for me last summer.
I've seen a few on the road. Heard acura/honda will be putting a more powerful engine into the new ILX (big complaint I've read). Sells have been underwhelming.
Curious to think what people would say the car is worth (invoice or a little less?)
May have to lease the car though...

the newer models will be getting the 2.4 all across the lineup, minus the hybrid.
so it'll just be either a 2.4L auto or 6mt base and then the hybrid which will probably stay the same. The TSX will be the one getting dropped.
so the sedan models will all end with an "-LX" and suv's will be "-DX".
ILX - entry level
TLX - midsize
RLX - premium
RDX - compact
ZDX - midsize crossover
MDX - full size
the future NSX will stay the NSX, for the sporty model. and apparently there will be a "baby" NSX as well.. wondering if they'll be bringing the RSX back for that, except it won't be a fwd model, so who knows.

Leased a ILX tech for $317 a month and $2k drive off, 12k miles/year. Pretty confident that I could have negotiated down more, but wanted to go home and watch the super bowl. Negotiated for about 20 minutes over numbers.

The 2.4L in the ILX will help a lot.
3/2013 got a ILX Tech MSRP $32,295. $259 per month. $2400 at signing, 36 months, 10k per year residual $19K. If you add all the payments and the down payment plus the residual it comes to $30,724.00, which is $1500 off MSRP. They also included all the Acura floor mats, trunk mat and wheel locks. I look at it as a cheap rental and if after 3 years I like it I will buy it but I have used their money for 3 years. I looked at others example the Caddiac AT'S was $299 for 36 months with 10k miles and $22,500 residual and $3500 at signing. That works out to $3,000 over MSRP. So the ILX is a $4500 better deal better MPG and better equipped.

Hey guys,
I have a question. I have a lease offer on a ilx with the tech package for $369.80 a month @ 16000 miles a year. Would you say this a good deal? They also offered the premium for 351 a month for the same mileage. Is the tech pacsge worth the extra $18? I was leaning Hondas way until they quoted me 450 for an ex-l with Nav
Would appreciate everyone's thoughts. I am trading my honda accord coupe 2011 btw.

Need more info. What are you paying up front? What is the residual/buyout at the end of lease? Also you would be better off with the 10k mile a year lease. Your going to pay 20 cents a mile for every mile over the 10k per year, which would work out to $3600 over the 36 month lease if you did end up driving 48000 miles. Your always better paying for the extra miles at the end of a lease or just buying it and using that $3600 to buy it at the end of the lease. Also Acura will normally wave the extra miles over the 10000 per year if they can get you into another lease for another Acura.
I read your numbers wrong. I read the 10000 as 1000 lol. Sorry. Do you think it's worth chancing that big if a difference? I feel uncomfortable because I can't be sure they would knock off the 5 or 6k a year. Or perhaps I want another car?
If you are going to do 16000 miles a year and with nothing down that is a great deal. I'm sure if after two years and say you are at 30k miles they will be happy to roll you into a new lease on another Acura with no penalty. I would get the Tech package it works better then any vehicle I've owned, Lexus, Mercedes.

That is a great deal at 16000 miles a year. If I add my payments plus down plus residual mine totals $1500 less over the life of the lease. But I am only getting 10000 per year. I can pay for 7500 miles over my 30000 and spend the same as you cost wise, but you would be ahead if you use though miles.
I always buy and drive my cars for 10 years. My monthly payment to buy is $450 for 5 years so over 10 years the monthly payment averages out to $225, plus the final resale value of the car which I hope will be about $5K if I keep it in good condition.
