My current lease isn't up till October, but I think I could move sooner but they probably wouldn't sell one to me initially. Also, the factories (Indiana, Canada, Marysville, East Liberty, Anna Engine Plant, and Honda Transmission) will start to slow production due to parts shortages soon. The labor dispute on the west coast is starting to affect things.

I purchased a Black with AcuraWatch Plus model in Columbus, Ohio. They had 8 total ILX's in stock. I ended up not going with the premium after seeing the two touch screens in person. There was way more clutter and confusion than I expected and without Navi it didn't seem practical. The car drives great even in the snow and I'm loving it so far.
I'll post some pictures after work tonight.

Yes, I am also interested in your reasoning for choosing the ILX over the TLX 2.4. I was able to test drive the new ILX yesterday, but didn't have time to drive the TLX back to back.
Overall, I was very impressed by the fit/finish improvements over the 2015 model, which was right next to the 2016 in the showroom. Everything feels more premium.
The ILX was surprisingly quick, and the DCT was smoother than I expected. Torque steer was barely noticeable, and highway passing wasn't a chore for the engine. Next time I'll have to drive TLX back to back for true test.

It was based on price/size for me. I was upgrading from a Civic and didn't need a larger car. I also have worked with the salesman in Columbus for a few other cars and he was willing to negotiate with me even through the car was new.

TSX is a great car, if i was you, I'd hold out for at least 3-4 more years when the MMC comes for TLX and ILX (if you're sold on Acura at least). I really think by then it will be a lot better options to choose from. I'm gonna stick with my ILX until it s just not right for me anymore. Probably go from that to a big luxury sedan or even sporty SUV like RDX. I don't know what you need your car for tho.

Also the ILX has newer grills and some styling that makes it look a little more agressive--and i like the RDX styling even more than ILX(chrome accent around the air vent makes it feel more premium to me. Seem like Acura is getting better and better....

I passed the TSX (A-spec suspension+Progress RSB+HTSpec Camber Kit combo) down to the son for his 16th B-Day and I have the RDX (Hondata+ETS Intercooler+Eibach springs). I'm just a little disappointing Acura is moving away from improved handling as an option. I still might have to wait to see what aftermarket power/suspension upgrades are available with the ILX/TLX down the road before making a final decision (ILX Type-S Turbo maybe?).

I agree with 'adschmau'...For me, if I am going to go I4 and DCT, I would prefer the ILX for teh fact that the car is a bit smaller, more nimble, likely a bit more fun to drive. If size and refinement was more of an issue, I'd do the TLX but from a driving dynamics point of view, I would chose the ILX.

^^ There is no question that Acura seem to struggle with its front end. They changed the grille to make it better but you are correct, the rest of the front seems elongated and some side pictures give it an odd/disproportion look

I'll reserve judgement until I see one in person. It's that same old explanation how a lot of Honda products look terrible in photos, and great in person. I hate the stock photos of the 13-15 ILX on acura.com, but in person I love the ILX. Don't know what it is...

I have never been one to claim to think a car looks better in photos.
The front end is simply off. Straight on looks great. But the closer you get to a profile the more you see that overbite/clothing iron tip.
That is just the design the came up with. Some people will think it looks fine while others are appalled.
Like the new civic... Or maybe accord coupes and their weird bulging tail lights at the right angle.

^^ I can vouch to be one of those who think Acura products look better in the flesh than in photos. I am not sure why but they do...but that being said, there are still some angles that aren't flattering. I loved many angles of my 2012 TL but from some specific rear view, I could barely look at it.
It is hard to see a car well executed from all angles....but I also reserve judgement until I see one in the flesh

Rear picture and wheels scream Honda Civic SI. I hate these wheels. Makes no snese to me - everyne is saying the new ILX looks more luxury because jewel eyes (i can sorta agree), but then overlook the hideous wheels that bring it back down to Civic SI/ EX level. This car has multiple personality disorder.
Best ones I've seen so far are the blue A-spec. The color is beautiful. It makes the new superstar jewel eyes pop WAY more. For whatever reason, the wheels don't stand out as bad in that color, maybe because the blue is a sporty color, and it probably just flows better.
Please - if you buy this car, plan on investing right away into some decent wheels and some kind of front lip mod. Most likely something from civic will bolt right on.
