That'll be pretty sweet if it gets passed. It's one of the reasons I absolutely love living here in AZ - just one plate, no unsightly windshield stickers, etc.

^ive been running one plate here in Texas.
also, ive heard that they are getting rid of the inspection stickers. so all we need now is one unsightly "registration" sticker

3 years in my TL with only a rear plate.
Hadn't heard about getting rid of the insp. stickers. What are they going to use?

Sorry I misread about the passing/pending. I'm going to keep a eye on this.

OK, found it.

you have to get inspected right before registration. and Im guessing it'll all be one sticker.

I might have to look that law up tho, im not positive.

There is a catch though. You would have to get your car inspected before getting your registration each year and, for the first time, diesel vehicles would have to pass an emissions test.
According to our partners at the Austin American-Statesman, the Senate approved the bill on Monday. Twenty-seven other states already use a single-sticker system.
If approved by the House, the measure would go into effect at the start of September.
we dont know if it passed yet.
