Steel wheels and winter tires?

First blizzard of the season just hit. Guess procrastinating for the winter tires is over.

Wanted to get some 16" steelies but not sure what fits an ILX. Anyone have info on if the wheel size is the same as the 9th gen civic? or have a line on steelies that might fit?

The stock rim size is 17 x 7 (for premium and dynamic), 5 x 114.3 and +40 offset. The spare is on a 15" rim for the 2.0L and 16" for the 2.4L (bigger front brakes). So if you have the 2.0L you could probably go with 15" wheel and tire combo to save a few dollars, but 16" should fit fine all around.

A 7" wide rim with +40 offset or 6.5" wide rim with ~32-35mm offset should fit ok. I don't think brake clearance will be an issue, but maybe someone else can chime in here?

I just got a set of OEM 17" for my winters . . they were expensive, but not outrageous.
