I've found I can say "Scan FM" or "Scan XM" and my ILX will scan each station, stopping for about five seconds before continuing on to the next.

Does anyone know how to stop the scan when it reaches a station playing something I want to listen to? I tried "stop" and "stop scan" but scanning continued on util I said "XM channel <channel no>" but having to do that seems to defeat the purpose of scanning.

 

Hit the "scan" button a second time when it's on a station you want to listen to.

 

Thanks, do you know if there is a voice command equivalent?

 

If the radio is on a station and you say "radio scan" it will begin to scan. If you hit the talk button again and say "radio scan" it will stop.
