Rumor Has It:...

Skunk2 is releasing springs and sport shocks for the 2012+ Civic SI.

Unless I've missed something, I believe they would be the first struts/shocks that are able to be purchased seperately besides KONI yellows.

Slowly but surely parts will come available.

Yeah, I went from a Chevy to a Honda and never followed the Drama... had no clue.

Well again I was excited for more aftermarket parts (Specifically Struts and Shocks sold seperately), but will refrain from purchasing.

I wouldn't recommend skunk2 (junk2). I had two sets of coilovers with them (Pro-S v2 and Pro-c) and both gave me headache..

Long story short for everyone.
Couple guys that didnt know each other got to talking when one posted in the others thread about a defective skunk2 part that ended up damaging his car. Neither gor good responses so they dug around.
They posted convincing pictures, emails, and so one with a former skunk2 employee. Everything showed a portion of their product is sourced from china. Skunk2 to literally put a bounty out for information regarding these two.
That shit cray.

I don't mind Skunk2 as a company but for suspension parts why not pick a company who specializes in suspension

Because people dont search and do research before dropping money. Consumers at their best.
If you go on an average drop box shipping site they will have skunk2 parts but wont explain their background story. People buy their parts all the time without knowing

Like BlackWorks Racing. I was sporting a few bracing pieces by them until word surfaced that they were holding onto an highly tuned civic EG because the owner passed and his wife wants to keep it in a safe place while it sells WITHOUT BEING PARTED so she can raise money for a nice funeral. The shop ended up parting it out and selling it themselves. No sure on the outcome. I was told this on hondatech by someone I didnt quite get along with when he heard the story and heard which braces I bought... my fault for not researching first.

Yes, well I'll give them credits on other stuffs they do but NOT on any suspension parts related. Veryy cheap and unreliable parts.

If they make cheap anything they probably make cheap, or at least cut corners on, everything.
If I remember correctly, one of the two complains was suspension, I want to say LCAs, the other was the intake mani I believe.
