Thanks! I was hoping that the acura center caps would fit to make it looks like its OEM as much as possible haha. if they didn't fit i would have gotten the enkei's. the wheels are 18x9 +35

yep. and you could make your alignment within spec of factory. no rubbing issues at all. but the wheels had a slight poke, about 1 or 2 mm from the fender. i had it aligned with -1 degree of camber all around and the wheels are flush now. ill post more up close shots when i get the chance.

Car looks great. I love black cars. I was looking at getting some chromed RPF1's. Don't want to jock your style tho. I knew a few people would go for this look. I like that you went with a 9 inch wide wheel, looking at possibly going that wide... not sure how that will fit with a 19inch wheel tho... either 19x8.5 or 19x9 for me.

sorry for the late reply!

Packaging - came in a standard box with foam protection inside. not sure where they're made, it doesn't say. wish it came with instructions on how to set-up preload or how to install them in general.

Quality - They're great stuff! only gripe so far is that i have a very slight squeak coming from the front. i can barely hear it, only when I'm on a quiet road. i think its coming from the shocks. gonna try to lube it up when i get the chance.

Drivability - Now this is going to depend on what you are going to use your car for, track, autocross, canyon runs, or is it just going to be your daily? I have the MonoMax coilovers and it is they're most expensive set due to their 40 way dampening adjustability and the higher spring rates they offer which are 10kg front and 14kg rear. my car is a daily and sometimes do some canyon runs for funsies. I chose this set because i rode in a 2008 Civic Si (similar chassis) with buddy club coilovers with the same spring rates, or so i was told. (8thgencivic forum was saying same spring rates but procivic lists something else and buddy clubs US website isn't up and running for me to check) I really liked the feel of the buddy clubs but wasn't feeling the buddy club price haha.

now as far as daily goes, i think they are adequate as long as you don't hit major bumps. you will feel every little thing with this set. i do have have the car on the lowest height setting possible without removing the collars and the dampening setting set at +5 front +15 rear which i believe gives me the best handling/daily driving feel. i tried it at the lowest dampening setting before but i didn't like the way the car felt handling wise. even being at the lowest height setting i don't hear any rubbing on hard cornering or when hitting those big bumps, which is probably due to those high spring rates. with those big bumps, however, they do get annoying after awhile, i love my car but i probably wouldn't drive it more than 2 - 2 1/2 hours without a bit of a rest these are fairly stiff. If i had to do it all over again, i probably would have went with godspeed's MonoRS coilovers which have 8kg / 10kg spring rate with 32 way dampening adjustment. but then again, I'm not sure if the lower spring rate would cause me to rub at my height setting. and if it did, i wouldn't change it then. i just wish i can try them. maybe someone else can pick them up and let us know how they feel. and if you're from socal, let me come by one day and i wanna try them lol.

to the canyons! now i live in san diego and theres a few back roads i like near my house to test out my suspension tweaks/settings. sometimes i like to go to palomar mountain, just youtube palomar mountain if you don't know what I'm talking about. these perform very well on the canyons, but once a bump comes, it somewhat upsets my foot and slips off the gas pedal. i think these will perform better on an autocross/track.

that pretty much sums up what i think of these coilovers, if anything else comes up ill keep you guys updated.

RPF1's are so common, i wouldn't be surprised if anyone else had the same set up i did. lol

19's look pretty good, the acura ILX street concept built by evasive motorsports has 19's.

thanks for all the info, great review of the MonoMax set. I may go with the MonoRS set with that review in mind, roads in Miami aren't too great some areas with horrible potholes. For that reason the softer spring rate may help, maybe won't go so low although i can't say that for sure it looks so clean *drool*

Go with the NTO3+M! RPF1 is pretty popular wheel NTO3's would look sick on an ILX. Probably will go with a set when I'm tired of the RPF1's.

the 18x8.5 NTO3+M are still a few lbs lighter than stock wheels btw.

Got the STI lip and hybrid grills put on the car. I think this pretty much makes my exterior cosmetic mods done. Now it's time to save up for a supercharger!

and now, for your viewing pleasure

I saw this on IG. As a fab of the RPF1s I have to say this is amazing. This and the other guy on here, can't remember his username but I think he in miami are the best ILX on here. Simple and clean. Perfect height and offset. Any performance mods at all yet?

would be cool to get a few pics of both ILXs together on RPF1s one in white one in black. definitely a clean way to go, best ILX's on here is relative I guess, and definitely high praise with the other ILX's on this site. i love my car but she has come catching up to do

No performance mods just yet. I plan to go supercharged but that may take awhile to save up. Just a mild set up, maybe 270-280 WHP.
