Stock, they look really yellow, though. I'm going to upgrade them though...just ordered them.

Yea the look good in the pics, I hate the way they look in person. I'm not sure if its the bulbs or the housing but they look weak

I want the bulbs to be yellow so they can fill the housing with a bit more color...sort of like the way my fogs are filled with the yellow color.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread for a bit, I like your plans and progress so far! For the intake, do you know if the install requires the front bumper to be removed?

I don't think you need to. It's a straight replication of the install on the civic si (from what I've been told), which doesn't require bumper removal.

Dude, you are a well of information. Thanks for helping the community! Last question, do you need a tune after the intake install or are you ok without?

Personally, I'd tune. I'm going to look at the datalogs of the intake without a tune, but I'm not sure it's going to run as optimally as stock without the tune. To be fair, a lot of the kids in the civic forums run without a tune, until they get the money; but, if you're good on cash, you may as well tune to take advantage of the intake.

Nope, just requires you to be a bit limber, a jack and pulling back the fender well.

I bet you can get away without the tune but my car is running rich and lean at the same damn time! Lol SUPER lean under WOT

Sweet! Thanks guys. I'll place my order for the CAI next month, this month Acura is replacing my rear shocks with ones that won't make that horrid sound and perhaps door sills...

I'm ordering my civic si suspension. found one used for 265. I'll add springs to that and I'll be lowered...finally!

I found a regular si suspension for 260. I'd rather get that and put springs on it (so I can go lower) than order the $700 hfp. To be fair, the hfp will likely be the best handling option, but I'd rather save the 300 and opt for this. At least for now.

The car looks much better with tints...it definitely makes the rear look better. I'm going to pull the trigger on an si supsension and swap out the springs...just waiting on shipping info.

millimeters lower...but if I swap out the stock si springs with H&Rs, as I plan on doing, it'll net me 1.5" drop. The sway bar helps, but I feel like I need more control before I make this car faster.

LOL, you're telling me.. I am already scared of it at speed and it has 50-70 less horsepower than it's going to have in a little over a month.

Aren't the Si's endlinks the exact part number as our endlinks?

I have videos of me driving intake only. Nothing outside the car per your request.

** I already know I can't get my woman to stand on the street and film it lol so I will try to convince my friend.

I know, but since my bar was installed upside down, I'm going to replace the endlinks just to be extra sure they won't snap on me later

Lol the voices in my head keep saying.. STAHP.. STAHP... STAHP..

I could always cancel my Supercharger lol

** I should clarify that it was either mod my car or buy a motorcycle.. I rationalized to modify my DD cause I could use it more than a bike and it was more safe.

good thinking. I'm just teasing you. FYI, my build thread is the third most viewed thread in this sub-forum...can't wait to see what'll happen when I start rolling in the mods.

Well YA, you confused people as to wether there would be a Type-S model made! Hahah! I know you're just messing with me but I am a bit out of control.. I canceled my LEDs(apparently they hadn't shipped yet) and canceled my borla order.. It was going to ship like late May and I just took that as a sign I needed to stop.

I think your build will inspire a lot to mod.. My build thread will just be "this guy is blowing way too much money on his car" lol

So there is a kid willing to sell his 2012 civic si suspension for $250. Should I swoop on that deal and couple the package with springs or should I look elsewhere?
