what do you guys think of this? sounds a little to ricey for the ilx, but I'm wondering if I can mix in some resonators to deepen the tone:

yea, that's what I thought. To be honest, this engine sounds like ass -- and it's not thanks to o that integrated header. I'm hoping CT-Engineering will figure out an elegant solution via a highly resonated muffler. The more I try to play around with this car, the more I realize I'm stuck, I tried looking at the springs to get them modified and it looks like I can touch those since they different from what's used in the civic....I'll need coilovers in order to circumvent that and I don't want to shell out that kind of money just yet (especially if I'm going to be a guinea pig).

Is that blue? Anyway, Borla is making a cat-back for the 2012 civic ex, which, if you don't know, has the same hidden exhaust. If they develop an aesthetically pleasing means of tackling the tip issue, then I'll go ahead an get an exhaust on this car.

BC, Redshift, K-sport, and Megan all have coilovers available for the car. I'm getting a $1500 check for some consulting work I did which will help revive this thread. Winter being on the horizon doesn't help with my endeavor, though.

No rattles, weatherstipping fading was probably caused by the dealer's detailer. It looks like someone tried to buff near the trim and ruined it.

I'm all warm and fuzzy
What do you all think of this exhaust:

I think it's appropriate for the ilx given it's deep tone.

I can't wait to get the rear sway bar on this car. I feel like the suspension isn't too soft, but rather the car could benefit from a little less sway when cutting lanes / easing into corners. I'm waiting for a vendor to get back to me on pricing and I'm going to be ordering a new sway bar on this car! Can't wait to post about how GREAT this car is.

well, what size are u leaning toward, 18" or 19"? We have a variety of wheels to choose from, and some amazing finishes. Not to mention the fitments exclusive to Honda and Acura vehicles. Give me a call, nothing to lose and much to gain!

Here it is
Spdandpwr hope you made it out of Sandy all right.
Here's some inspiration for your build:
"At the heart of the Civic-based model is an upgraded 2.4-liter gasoline unit, which with the help of a supercharger kit from CT Engineering and an ECU tune with Hondata’s FlashPro, now produces 250-horsepower
The FWD model is also fitted with a prototype SP Elite exhaust from Greddy as well as aero components from the Acura Genuine Accessories lineup, 19-inch Volk G25 wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero tires and Tein Street Advance coilovers."
