Niiice. What size sway your going for up front? around 20mm?

And those will be good size spacers. How wide are the pf01s?

I think they are 18x8. No Sway bar up front - I've heard it's not a good combo to put heavy rear + front. Maybe I'm wrong.

Tires only have 40% Tread left, will also switch from 215 to 225 here soon

A aah I thought you meant front sway not front bracing.

A front sway bar is fine but you'll definitely want to stay smaller than the rear. We want a thicker rear sway bar but upgrading both will just make the car even more like a go kart.
Like I said if you do just make sure the rear stays larger.

24MM Rear Anti-Sway Bar is making some serious popping sound now. Am going to have it looked at today but I have a feeling the increased size is causing it to rub against something else and when that pressure is released it's making a popping sound. I know at least 2 other people were buying this Bar so might want to wait and see what my guy says. Hopefully something is just loose.

I would see if you can reach your end links while the car is on the ground and see if they move or make the sound you're hearing. If so the end links may be set too short.
It's a definite popping verse clunking though yeah?
Makes me think it's the the end links verse making contact with the body or an lca.

Yeah it's a popping noise, you can't really feel anything just hear it. Does it when the car shifts/sways side to side vs. going over bumps. I'll check the end links today

Good luck!!

In the past when we replaced by buddies 24mm sway with a 32mm (I know right!!)
we put the endlinks on wrong. They fit no problem but we set the adjustable links too short so the sway bar wasn't able to move through it's entire range of motion making the joints sort of pop in hard cornering.

We took it off, readjusted the end links and everything was fine after that.

Things just needed to settle in and a good old fashioned bolt tightening is all that we needed to do

Oh hi, I remember this car

Still waiting on Full Race to get that exhaust out!

We did an S/C 2013 Si this past weekend with my aftercooler -- car had 25k miles on it -- stock clutch ate it first pull into vtec on the dyno.

^ Yeah, once that Full Race goes in and gets re-tuned, i'm anxiously awaiting your review/thoughts on Sound,Feel,power,etc. That will finally give me a reason to convince myself to pull the trigger with Vit on FP and ultimate tune

Also have been debating on whether to go progress 24 or 22, or just the 19 Eibach?

@bmw2ilx - so basically I'm somewhat worried about subframe tear out. So 24mm seems kinda pushing it. However getting a subframe brace should alleviate that, once one is available. I was leaning towards the Eibach Sport plus kit. Cheapest I found it online was $546 (prices are shipping included/free). So, the Eibach front sway (24mm) and the rear (19mm), and springs. BUT then I just pieced together my own kit online. $194 for the Eibach front sway (you have to look for 2012 and up civic), $198 for Tein S Tech springs, and $182 for the 22mm rear sway from Progress. $574 only around 30 bucks more. Obviously better prices are possible too. The stock sways are (2.4l) 20mm(front) and 14mm(rear). So, a 24 mm front and 22mm rear is beefing everything up, and is more in keeping a "ratio" that the engineers who designed this car wanted. But then again their intent was daily driving, not aggressive handling. Just my opinion/ thoughts on this. This is where I'm going in the future I think.hope my post gave you some insight/ a viewpoint.

The 24 is great. Rock solid on hard turns. Went into a empty parking lot and really got into it - night and day difference with just the rear brace and 24M anti-sway bar!

Slaammed - You worried about soot build up on your bumper when you get boosted? I'm going to paint the lower section black once it gets cut it 3 weeks for the exhaust, but shit I really would be pissed it there was a lot of black soot showing. Looks ggghetto - reminds me of old 90's civics that went catless for a couple years.

Or were you talking about the FKX rear lower tie bar? Which kind of acts like onne, since its in the same area? Where exactly did you buy the FKX bar as well, i'm trying to get some of their stuff... sorry for the 20 questions...

PM Team3d on the 9th gen forum. I bought from him. Super fast shipping. Yeah it's the rear lower tie bar. Super tight in the rear now with the 24mm anti sway. I'm not sure I will upgrade the front. I've talked with a lot of the 9th gen guys and they persuaded me to only firm up the rear. firming the front on a FWD car should cause understeer. correct me if I'm wrong. I am planning on installing a front lower tie bar but not beefing up the sway. FKX is the only company I know of that makes a front lower tie bar that allows room for the 3" downpipe/exhaust

As Vit said, still waiting on full race to get the 3" exhaust back in stock. Still shooting for early june for the bumper cut and new downpipe + exhaust install. Late August for the supercharger and CAI. Concerning that civic tore through the clutch on the first dyno run. I'm only going stage 1 so TQ should be a little less. thinking around 210 TQ - still a big upgrade from 165 where it's at now. WHP should be around 275 compared to the 191 its at now. daily driver so I'm leaning on the conservative side with the SC (I say conservative but that's obviously relative).

Really at worst the clutch may wear faster... but they wear out anyway so then you just a good reason to upgrade when it does. I don't know any better to be honest when it comes to front sway. I won't argue either way. I will say if the front is available, it seems like an upgrade to me, so i'll try it. It just won't be the first suspension upgrade for me, more like the last, so I can really tell if it does anything.

Will do with the FKX. Yeah fitment is part of the reason I prefer them right now. They also had threads on the 9th gen forums about the FKX bars being triple ribbed (hehe) while the Megan and even the Tanabe were only single. Thanks.

Keep in mind our dyno breaks 9th gen owner's hearts -- they baseline 165-175 stock and only 2 to date have broken 200 with bolt ons on it so far on this dyno.

I think I'll buy the 24 next month lol. Too much body sway on my car right now.

And no I'm not, my pipes actually come out an inch or two from the bumper. I'm running basically a straight pipe with oem resonator. I'm going to eventually paint it/ vinyl wrap it/ or just cut the thing off. Lol it does look ghetto on newer cars

Just gave her first oil change. Mobil one, nothing but the finest. 6,200 on the car now, just over 5 months old. Figured I'd change the oil of bit early considering all of the Dyno pull she's been through

I ordered mine on May 2nd. Every week they say "will be here next week". I called them yesterday and they said "near future"! WTF

I had to cancel 2 apts with my body shop for modifying my bumper already. Plus I don't want to order the supercharger until the downpipe, exhaust and bumper are done.

I ordered mine on May 9th so it took 2 weeks longer than they originally told me. Hopefully you get yours soon Im really curious to see what the supercharger will add to that setup. Also are you installing it yourself or having a shop do it for you? Im doing mine this weekend myself only Im super hesitant of cutting the bumper but it has to be done.

Family friend owns a hod rod body shop and If I help he does it super cheap so he'll be doing the heavy lifting on the bumper cut. I want it perfect. As far as the downpipe - I'll be installing that and having an exhaust shop do the cat-back. Hydraulic lifts are much more efficient than jack stands for that install. well worth the $100 bucks or so

Thats awesome you have a hook up with the shop that makes things so much easier. As far as the downpipe goes IMO after installing it myself Id say you should do the cat back yourself and have the downpipe done by a shop instead...it was a nightmare to reach the bolts and break them on just car jacks. The exhaust should be a breeze in comparison.

Just leave this here for you. 2012 Si we just installed the CT-e blower & my VitTuned aftercooler setup on. Before & after. The motors pick up solid power (and that torque, dayum) with the blower and properly designed cooling that stays consistent pull after pull.

2 months guys. But i wont be putting in the 2.95" pulley. Too much daily driving for me and stock clutch. Maybe in the future
