new owner...possibly soon

Hey all, I've been trolling the board for a few weeks now and finally decided to reg and become a member. The forum has been a great source of info and I thank you all for your input.

I've been researching a new car for my wife and lo and behold the ILX became the top choice. Other cars in the running were the TSX (she said it looked like an older persons car) and the CT200 (price and didn't feel like dealing with the eventual hybrid battery replacement). I know the ILX is getting ripped for it's pricing but overall it covers everything my wife is looking for in a car.

We're looking at purchasing the 2.0 tech. in black sometime in the next 2-4 weeks so I'll keep you updated on the process.

Well, good luck in your purchase!

For the price-range of the ILX, you could consider a MINI Cooper Countryman! Just saying.

If you don't need the car that quickly you may want to wait a month or two until inventory is greater and the market price drops a bit.

Welcome to AZ and we hope you'll be the second person to check in on the owner's sticky at the top of the forum. Good luck in shopping.

the lease rates on the ilx have come down a bit, I think you won't find much in terms of pricing changes over the next few months, then again, if time isn't of the essence, you may as well wait and see.

In order to meet the advertised lease payment, dealers need to sell the car off MSRP.

my apologies for the absence. nope, we're still planning on doing it. we'll probably hold out a little longer just in case there's anything happening at the local dealers for the 4th of July. I'm not expecting too much, if anything, but just in case.
