New Owner from New York

Hey guys. Just past my 15 day trial on here so I can finally post up some pics of my ride. It's Bellanova White/Ebony 6-Speed Premium model with the OEM Spoiler and Underbody kit. I definitely plan on modding and currently have some LED's on order for the DRL's, Fogs, Reverse, and License Plate lights.

Thanks! really enjoying it so far. thankfully it doesn't seem to suffer any squeaks and rattles (other than the occasional thud from the rear). gas mileage is great too considering performance. i'm still considering the dynamat for the trunk though to quite down the exhaust note a tad

Hello. I picked up a white/black 2013 ILX Tech last week and would like to swap out the bulbs you mentioned. Do you have anymore info on what you went with and how it turned out? Would really appreciate any info.

Btw, your car looks great!!

I just got them today but I'm not gonna install them until this weekend. After I install them I'll post some pics of what I bought and what they look like installed.

Hahaha, its the opposite for me..I've only seen one Blue Pearl on the street, and it was beautiful.

I want sway bar...But I have never modded my car other than superficially. I hear it does wonders.

I can't wait for the LED installations. Esp the turn signals. What did you get?
I've installed 6000k Headlights/6000k HID Fogs. White/blueish License Plates, and 7000k DRLS/Highbeams. Although, I regret changing the DRLS because I can barely see them during the day and the light output at night from the high beams isn't as clear.

I'll just post links to everything I bought since it's easier.

License Plate Lights

Fog Lights
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/CREE-High-P...s-p/sku-4q.htm

DRL's
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r2.htm

For the Reverse Lights I bought a T10 LED bulb. I can't find the link I got that one from.

That's pretty much it. We'll see how everything goes with the install this weekend.

Nice ILX! It looks great with the body kit. I feel like it should be standard.

They could at least make a type-s model...it's dumb that they dropped the type-s since that sold relatively well. Every other luxury brand has a performance variant of their popular models...sometimes I feel like the only talented people at Honda/Acura are their engineers.

actually.. our 6 speed models SHOULD be the Type-S and come standard with the lip kit. its a good way to differentiate the base 2.0/hybrid/and our 2.4's.

A stiffer suspension and exclusive spoiler would of been nice. I think that'd be worthy of the S badge but I doubt the engineers wanted that.. as they say the "Type-R" and "Type-S" badges hold a special place in their hearts.

hfp suspension, lsd, spoiler, and a tip cutout would cost almost nothing, but they can charge 1k more and I'd still buy it!

Have any Acuras ever come with a LSD? With the exception of the Type R?
