New member - PPM 2.4 with Aero package.

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking these forums for sometime. I have had my share of cars from a turbocharged 97 civic, 2006 csx, 2009 infiniti g37s and now the ilx 2.4.

Coming from the g37s (330 hp), I'm surprised that i'm not really disappointed with the 2.4's performance. This car brings back memories of the things that I love about honda's and acura's of the past.

I just picked her up a few hours ago, its definitely a good looking car, probably the best car acura/honda has designed for quite some time.

Thanks!

Woke up early this morning to take her for a spin. I love driving this thing, probably more so than the g37.

Very sweet looking car. First one I've seen in that color with the Sport Underbody Kit. Where are you located? Congrats on the new ride and welcome!

4cruizin - Located in Toronto, Canada.

I think the skirt package is a really nice upgrade on this car, just wished acura didnt charge so much for it.

Congrats, looks good with the package. Your right about the cost, too expensive for me unfortunately.

2700 pre tax is way to much for a lip kit. looking at oem, it worked to about 1700+tax+shippping. I think i can wait for the oem replica + additional designs to show up.

neil - I agree with you 100 percent. I just don't like waiting, and nothing fits like OEM.

If i had known oemacura sells it for 1700 I would have gone through there, but no sense crying over spilled milk.

Today is day 4 of owning the car, i'm loving every minute. I will be opti-coating the car this weekend.

My CSX, i had purchased the mugen replica kit from Nexmod, and the rear bumper fitment was horrible.

I'm planning on some spring releases for the ILX..I'm def looking for the understated elegance like the OEM kit, it's aggressive without breaking the body lines.. hopefully the aftermarket companies can do a comparable job.

can you post more photos of the front and rear - like front / rear facing, I've only seen 3/4 shots from the broshure and online.

thanks so much.
