New Acura ILX Under Bonnet problem

I bought a new 2014 Acura ILX base tech on March 23, 2014 from Acura dealer.
It was 25miles when I bought it. The car came to the dealer in Oct 2013.
I ran over a huge pot hole on May 09, 2014, and I had to replace two front rims and undercarriage (the plastic thing underneath the car.)
I went to an Acura dealer different than where I purchased the vehicle because it was much closer from my work.
I ran the vehicle without undercarriage for a day because it was hanging there.
After all, I just opened the bonnet to check engine oil level and found

this water mark.
I wish it's just water from the ground but was worried because the mark has yellowish color.

In addition,

I spotted some rust marks on the engine.
If you look at the last picture, the rust is so extreme, I cannot even believe that I purchased it two months ago.
Is it normal? Is it even safe to drive? (the dealer did multi point inspection and said it's safe to drive, but the did not even find broken undercarriage at first.)
Do you think the rust is because of the day I drove without the undercarriage (just for one day)?

Thanks,

ashin1204...I am sorry to hear about your incident with the potholes. That sucks that you had to change 2 rims and the undercarriage cover...that must have been some hole!!

As far as your rust under the engine....if the vehicle sat for the extended amount of time from production to sale, its normal that such rust could occur. Its never fun to see such rust but its just a product of being exposed to the element and would have likely occurred regardless...

I am sure this has no effect on the vehicle safety, simply on the esthetic aspect.

Best of luck

Do you also have the huge rust you can see in the last picture?

Thanks, Weather.
However, do all vehicles have rust?
Now I am worried about other parts of body that the dealer might missed (such as chassis, suspension, alignment, etc.)

^^ Well, my TL has never seen any rain so it has no rust whatsoever but my little Accent has, and I have seen almost new Acura's with as much rust as you have displayed in your photo. Again, visually, its disturbing and not pleasing but its not a safety concern.

In the last picture the rust you see is on the header, not the engine.

As weather said, it wont do any harm to the engine and its not common for those parts to rust through like a body panel might. Rust is a big issue when it is on painted surfaces because it will eat through the entire panel.

Most cars will have rust under the good because its often not dried off if it gets wet anywhere. Don't worry too much about it.
