2013 ilx prem 2.0 silver moon
I wanna do a nice mix of aesthetics and mechanical
off top I wanted to wrap my roof black cause I'm gonna put some kinda alloy wheels on it with possibly some black accents. And I thought about getting a deck lid in black but if I ever sell it I'd like to have oem paint. I'm gonna have to look at the tint in person before purchase but I'll prolly get 15% in all 4 corners, back and maybe a front strip if it looks good. Also tinted headlights and taillights. Window tint is prolly gonna be my first mod I even do. Before the aesthetics tho and after tint I'm gonna focus on the hardest area for me, the mechanical portion. I know the parts I want but I prolly need help installing a cold air intake lol. I'm learning tho cut me a break lol. I'll get the cold air intake, headers, downpipe, exhaust, and a tune. The tuning part is my biggest concern. Idk if it's even worthit but I might try it. Idk even know if I should get some bolt-ons first then tune or tune first then add bolt-ons. Also I'm kinda just realizing that not a lot of people do this and there's not a lot of people with experience working on ILX's. Anyways. I'm not a huge internet person but my biggest fear is getting ripped off buying online. I'll try to navigate my way thru this site the best I can. Just work with me tho. Also I wanna find someone I trust to do the install. I don't wanna guy who's gotta syringe in his back pocket but I don't wanna guy who thinks his shit don't stink and overcharges cause he gotta fancy patch on his shirt lol. Anyways. I'm in middle Tennessee around Nashville. So there's shops for domestic cars and trucks but not a lotta import guys. But yeah there's my plans.

Yeah, that stuff has been done many times not even a build just average. If you really want to do some groundbreaking here is what everyone wants to do but can't figure out.

Funny you mention that. I use to compete in local audio comps. I'll look at it and see what happens tho. But I've only seen a coupe of boosted ilx's so if you got links then I'd love to see em. Like I said tho I don't get on here much but I've seen the guy who had that slammed ilx with the cte supercharger but that's about it. I think I might be in the wrong place as well. I'm grown and like I'm actually doing my mods like I said in a coupleof weeks. I just thought more people would be doing this. Anyhow. I'll look at the head unit. In the newer models tho the aftermarket manufacturers prolly just haven't gotten around to making new units compatible. And actually I got an amp just sitting in my closet I might try to hook up for fun. Maybe somebody will buy it.
