I just got an 2013 ILX and I was wondering if the red lights that surround the reserve lights are supposed to light up when you turn on your headlights or do they just light up when you brake or/and put the car in reverse. At night the only lights that light up on my car are my tail lights on the sides nothing on the trunk part lights up and I was wondering if that is normal.

It's normal, unfortunately. The red elements on the trunklid are only reflectors.
