Kraftwerks sc

I was going to go with a turbo setup but i dont want to drop the aframe to tap the oil pan so i decided to go sc setup but before i checkout i just want to make sure the kraftwerks will fit on my car with the hood closed i know it will fit the motor but what about clearance?? I contacted kraftwerks and they said i would have to elminate my ac and use the k race sc and i said that aint happening and why does the other kit work on the si that have the same motor and it still have the ac then i said you guys have never tested it out on a ilx yet have you ? and i still havent had a answer back yet..wtf I'm about to spend 5 grand with your company and full race no better they never put there parts on a ilx yet either

I dont know anything about no AC or all that, youd have to ask. My last Civic I did AC delete for a little bit, I added some pulleys, swapped some belts bla bla, power increase? Sure. But No AC? In Southern California! FUCK NO! I changed it back after. I was sweating my balls off in my leather interior on a 3 hour weekend drive from Camp Pendleton, San Diego to my house (LA /IE Area). If he did AC delete, then man, good luck with the future girls complaining about how it's hot as fuck in your car... NEVER AGAIN

Also I noticed it does not actually appear tohave BOV sound when it was just driving around with the go pro, only when fully redlined on the dyno.

Guesswho, Aaron has a thread here. His username is slammedilx. Scroll through a couple pages in the ilx section and you'll find his thread.

Also OSU beaver has a supercharger from a different company if you care to compare.

With the Comptech I think you are able to keep your intake. Comptech is like 250WHP pretty safe bet, you could also still get like a buddy club pulley and bigger injectors and add more power.@aaarontheasian / slaammedilx says 332hp but WHP/at the wheels thats gotta be like 290 max, and im pretty sure he has other supporting mods. I think they're comparable powerwise honestly. The final deciding factors are probably the supporting mods and the tune. Just checked axion industries, he has a LOT more stuff for ILX then before.

Really? Man, if i end up doing supercharger then Im for sure looking at the Comptech then... CARB legal, less hassle seems like. I'll probably end up seeing his car in person again tho, we go to a lot of the same car meets. I would want to see how bad the cutting was. If its like "go fast" vents, then no biggie, kinda cool actually.

If u look at one of his pics on instagram u can see the cut its kind of big.and he had to bend a part on the frame this is what he told me his self i can screen shot the message and Jeremy Thompson at full race is helping me with the turbo kit specs and sale so soon ill be boosted either way..

Turbo would be sweet as hell. If you are in the market for a SC/Turbo maybe shoot Vit an email (vitviper.com has his contact info) and look at a few dyno charts from him. With the CT SC w/2.95" Pulley and an after-cooler you're talking about some serious numbers (close to 320whp and 255wtq), get to keep your AC and no cutting the hood. Kraftwerks is good too, I actually didn't know about the AC issue. Never seen one on in person.

I'm waiting to upgrade my SC until this summer but will be doing the 2.95" Pulley, Vit's after-cooler, upgraded clutch, etc. (I have the stage 1 right now, love it but want more)

If you think you can work the 2012+ Civic Si kit on the ILX let me know. I have two in stock and would be willing to offer an extra discount for the feedback and to help out the community.
