So this is my second Acura, first was a 2011 RDX, gave that SUV to the wife and now I got the 2016 ILX, Have had no issue with the Acura, till now. First had to bring the RDX in for vibrations and found the front axels bent so said ok replace them, well turns out they are on back-order (this was back in July and now Oct 13th they are still back-ordered). Now I went to get the OEM remote start installed on my ILX and am told thats on back-order with not ETA? is this normal for Acura parts? In the past I have had BMW and never had back-order parts (though it was in the shop way more )

 

Maybe buy from someone like Delray acura?

Not sure if the pricing is comparable. But Delray is a great source for OEM acura parts. Not sure if its in stock but if it is you could buy from them then pay your dealer or even a local honda dealer to install it.
