Will probably replace the wheels later, these are too blurry now that I've uploaded.

Looking good with the jewel eyes. I like that grill too. Is that an existing grill?

It's the grill off of the Acura SUV-X concept. It sorta works, I need to do a better job of angling it.

These were spur of the moment. Started around 10pm and finished at 1am.

I'm calling it "Plain Jane to Marry Malaine". lol Marry Malaine is just some fictional women I made up who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. It's to represent the transformation the ILX can undergo into this beautiful, desirable women by everyone, when really in the first place there was nothing really 'wrong' with her. But society made her change to feel accepted and wanted muwahahaha

Cheesy, I know

Enjoy.

I'm off to bed.

Sport grill option?

Oh yeah, and I attacked everything in the pictures almost. Play a game and tell me what all you see that's different. I unfortunately left one thing out, turn signals in the mirrors!

It sure does, 4cruzin. The Jewel Eyes make this car look so much more worthy. It's like they are glaring deadly into your soul in a beautiful way.

Being red (stimulates you and others in certain ways) allows it to be elegant and attractive and for being in the back ground makes it seem like there is a hidden side to the story. Some sort of aggression.

lol so sensual.

The result for me is curiosity and desire.

^^ I must be the typical male...as your eyes wandered over to the left of the screen, my eyes couldn't help but notice the amazing set of legs walking out of the room on the right hand side of the screen *lol* I know....I am a pervert

Timmy....Great work as always. You sure have talent my friend.

Oh Im used to it. NWP allows for much more provocative content and I constantly give those guys a hard time for posting fap material in a car forum.

I was loling over the indepth descriptions you were giving along with the creepy background story. hahaha

As for the legs, shits blury, probably to hide some 35yr old nastiness. hahaha Apologize if any of you are 35. hahahahaha

I was so tired (still am) when I typed that little background story thing, I had just got in from Track and was sorta rushing to get that said so I can move on to the shower. I was probably just pulling things off the top of my head. lol

And in all of Acura's pictures that feature people, specifically women, they blur them out like everyone else would. Focal point is the car, not her ass!

Probably the last one for a few days. Its an older one I made for Tyson a while back.

Haha I guess Picasa recognized that the picture had snow in it so they added this little effect. Cool!

Because they're cheapening out everywhere they can and they are designing cars how they think is right. :/

Im on the fence whether or not I agree with their hidden exhaust choice.

While it is less VIP, and that makes me sad.
It is a nice look in the back to have all the bumper.

It goes both ways for me. In the future I will be looking into getting the rear valance piece and cutting the bumper right along the inside of that. Painting the inside section black as well as about half an inch of the bumper circling the exhaust... NOT on the valance piece though. As Timmy has shown, the valance makes a great half cut out for the exhaust.
Ill only go one rear exit but probably dual tip with a slight kink upward following cues from brabus.

I just dont care to take the time to work the dual exhaust like I believe switt? did already. Was a lot of work and nothing I care to do myself.

Plus asymmetry can be good sometimes.

All these LED headlights are going to drive me nuts. I love the look of them, but I know that's going to happen unless I want to destroy a set of really expensive headlights

I hope MMC ILX's can get the Jewel eyes like we've done. I think it completes the car.

I like them, but it does add a huge bling factor to the front end that a lot of people may find too much.

If the ILX were to have Jewel Lights, do you guys think it'd be possible to upgrade to em?

They just look too good

Assuming the mounting remains the same and you can get the needed electrical parts then sure.

It is very possible as long as they dont change the bumper. If they change the bumper then you can count on the headlight shape being altered slightly. But if the front bumper doesnt change then the headlights should be bolt on.

And timmy, can you render images? If you took a few classes you could have a good shot. Acura as well as any reputable company would be looking for people that can render 3D models from scratch VS piecing things together in photoshop like I do and like I have seen from you.

Not quite there yet. I'm in a class currently learning how to use 3D Max and I have used multiple Autocad programs like inventor in the past which I like a lot.

Constructing a car from scratch in one of these programs? Hmmm. Not quite there yet.... ..I'm Loading..

Nice job on the PS chops guys. Without a doubt the pic in post #1 is the best. Drove the ILX 6-speed last summer and actually loved the car. The styling not so much.

I said at the time, the car had potential but it would be a lot of work. And that is the picture I had in mind. Well, actually that picture looks even better, lol. I'd love to see someone make that reality.

I know I already posted this in another thread but I feel like some people may miss it so sorry for the double post.

This is how I would want my ILX to look.

I'm glad you posted here.
We don't need a new thread every time a change is made on the screen or in real life.

I prefer dedicated sections verse threads cropping up and getting buried.

Older but I updated it with the bumper/ side skirts, Jewel eyes, LED door handle lighting and what not.

I'm a little inconsistent.
