Random question... why do people put their license plate in their car?

In Cali that is still illegal and a cop will still ticket you... is this not true in Texas?

You just surprised them is all. Your cars got a lot of chrome accenting. They werent ready is all.

Personally I think this plus your side moldings would be perfect. Anything else may be over kill.

 

Yeah I did my lip different than most Ive seen but its kinda hard to explain...Ill take pics tomorrow to show you exactly where I mounted. And Im thinking of taking off the dip now that I have these on...thats why I took off the acura part to see what it looks like.

 

Technically we are required to have it mounted on the bumper but as long as it can be seen you wont get messed with. I only put it there today for the first time. Ive been driving with it under my seat since I bought it in January and have been pulled over 4 times for other reasons and the cops never mentioned it once.

 

I'm not asking because Im going to do this to my car either, my car is already VERY chrome heavy. I'm just joking around. I think it looks good. Too much on my car. But I'm also liking the blackout look other people are starting to get into.

 

Im not the hugest fan of "chrome everything" but the black grill pieces look really really cheap and the chrome on these is in moderation so Im willing to chrome just a little bit to get rid of the cheap look.
