Seems the only option the vendor is willing to make available is to help me make what they sold me fit... or return the product with shipping at my expense plus a 25% restocking fee on a part that wont fit anyone's ILX.

They have connected with ISC and are working to get the proper brackets made and shipped out to me. I guess I will then have to take the front suspension bracket off and replace the new one then re install the suspension.

This outcome works but it is honestly asking a customer to jump through more hoops than they should have to.

I understand the refund policy says the item needs to be returned in a like-new condition they can re-sell. But this item does not fit and can not be resold therefor this refund policy should not apply to a falsely advertised part.

I read horror stories on-line explaining vendors ignoring their customers so I am glad XLR8 is moving to try and fix the situation. I just wish I could have gotten a straight up refund as that is what I deserve. Regardless of their return policy because I am returning a product based on false advertisement not disinterest.

Now I am waiting for a response from ISC to XLR8 and once I get the part I will be forced to go out of pocket time and money for the install a second time.

^^ I agree with you 100%! If the part doesn't fit, then you should not be charged a restocking fee. That seems absurd!

Pretty much. All I can hope is the vendor pushes to get me a replacement part quickly.

RANT RANT RANT

Wreck the car. Fix the car. Pay higher insurance.
Starter dies in the car. Replace the starter out of pocket ($550 at Honda)

Radio needs code. Honda enters code incorrectly several times. Radio locks up. Radio remains locked up even after removing the battery again and pulling Fuse #23. Radio, HVAC lights also do not work. Honda says nothing they can do.

What is life. I can't even..

One half positive note.. got paid today. Less than I was expecting.

BBS LM reps... thats the brand name guys.

Why doesnt anyone ever know the offset? Oh and again, some TE37 reps. Apparently that is who made them... TE37 Reps

This is the worse. Flat out says they are BBS then when asked if they are "of course not."

I dont want to live on this planet anymore.

Wow what a bunch of douches.Fake stickers on the wheels and fake caps .. faking the funk, super lame. Thing is, when you see the real wheels, they really look WAY better. If you want to rock reps, fine, whatever, its your money and your death wish. But faking the funk on top of it? LAME
I see fake Junction Produce stuff sometimes on Craigslist - I instantly flag and make a post of my own letting people know whats up. Worst part is they usually try to charge close to the real thing!

My discussion with a Vossen rep about Vossen wheels being certified by TUV/JWL/VIA.

Readers digest version. He believes the ILX is unsafe so why should I complain that Vossen wheels are unsafe... even though the ILX got a great safety rating and Vossen wheels havent gone through any safety or certification testing by ANYONE except maybe the people profiting from the sale.
Also he believes I think my car is JDM but it isnt... and his wheels ARE in germany... so this makes Vossens safer than an ILX... WTF? I think he must be high. He didn't answer any question just looked into my own page and tried telling me I was wrong about my own car. What a fool.

This is the kind of person that backs up Vossen wheels. That is the type of person you will speak to if you have an issue with vossens and need to honor their warranty. Id love to see an ILX owner move for a warranty due to structural integrity of a wheel not certified as safe only to hear him say "Well your suspension makes noise so it must be your fault!" What a fool.

LOL it was almost like you were trolling him tho, pretty funny. The guys an ass tho. If he felt like you were being combative, then he should just ignore you. Instead he makes himself and the company look bad by talking shit, deflecting, and avoiding answering your legitimate questions. This is the customer service and the response they want to show the public? No thanks.

God I hate some people.
Here's a picture from Saadat... the legitimate owner.

And here is the fake trying to pretend to own the same car.

According to his IG profile he is a blogger and a man of Jesus. 10-1 says his blog is all plagiarized. And I love how he preaches to do good by thy brother yet rips off people he doesn't know. Class act right there.

If terminology is wrong than so be it. Still looks like someone turned up the exposure setting on their cell phone then took the pic for instagram.

Stop trying to thread jack you clown. Keep that topic in its own thread.

You should just put him on blast on his account. Worst he can do is block you after he's been exposed- what a fucking lameass. Good job bro exposing this weirdo. Seriously? Who does that? LOL

By the way tell that guy Sadaat his car looks nice. The gun metal type color of the wheels looks nice against the black, and the red lugs match the tailights pretty nicely. Clean

Rave - called the cops on a random cholo who was stealing a 95-97-ish Honda Accord as I pulled into a random Wal-mart. He was the most sketchiest and obvious mofo alive - he had the whole "im sneaking up on this car let me look around and make sure no one sees me" thing going.. had the "OH SHIT" look on his face when we made eye contact as he opened the door. I didn't see what he used, but those cars are notoriously easy to break into.

Since i had just pulled in, i just a straight up shot a killer game face and calmly pulled out my phone and called the 5-0. He tried to play it off and and jump on his phone, however he clearly never dialed anyone, and he was shooting nervous glance at me the whole time. He was messing with the steering wheel column too.

I was smiling and keeping a cool game face as I talked to the police dispatcher, so the guy was trying to figure out "hmm did he call the cops or not?"

Cops showed up and guy just instantly walked out to the trunk and sat down on it, His face was like "FUCK, I KNEW IT!" Pretty obvious it wasnt the first time he got caught.

BWAHAHAHAHA FUCK YOU THIEF!!!

Ilx on vossens is coming soon thanks to Mike with the tlx.

He has me blocked on his ig so I can't tell him not to put vossens on it. I'm so tired of vossens. Most played out company around plus cheap too boot.

Vossen has me blocked to because I keep asking them why they'll be certified by anyone. Vossen FTL

I cant. I can only knock the quality, customer service, and safety. And their fans. Oh god I love arguing with them on IG. They pay so much for their horrible wheels then think just because they paid 2grand they must be better than Work or Volk.

Since were ranting here, One of my close friend talks so much shit about my ILX. He owns a 12' Si and keeps thinking his Si is superior to mine Lol. Hes the type of person who bought megan coilovers and then doesnt bother to get an aligment with 2" drops and rubs.
I know in terms of peformance the Si wins despite the same engine but the detune doesnt help. He also brags about having the i-vtech dash and how me not having it means i have no Vtec Lol...
but i assure you I am the better driver and i still would beat his ass in a straight line but if we were to switch drivers me in the si would win

Just tell him you don't care about his fast family car and that you drive a entry level lux or executive car.
Tell him also the bitches don't give a flying fuck about his si. But they love an acura because it stands for a level of luxury and beauty that Honda doesn't care about.

Sure his car is quicker. But it's not evo. It's no m3. Its a damn civic. Your friend sounds like a douche. Tell him I said that.
What has he done to his civic? If he's molded it I bet I can pick it apart for ya.

I hope you put this much effort and lose this much sleep over other brands as you do with vossens. There is a metric shit ton of uncertified wheels out there. Most don't seem to care. And those who do, willingly spend the extra money.

By the end of the day, who gives a flying fuck? Don't like them? Don't support them! No need to climb inside his ass because a company he works for chooses not to certify. He's a rep, not an owner. Just making a paycheque by the end of the day.

Do you also go to china and ensure everything coming from everyone of their factories is safe too? I'm guessing not. How is this any different?

You can inform your friends. If they choose to stay away, good for them. If they choose to buy anyway, good for them also.

Believe me I ridicule any other company just as much as Vossen. The thing is, other companies have never made it as personal as Vossen has.

I have spoken to the guys from Vossen and they are such a headache to get real information from. A rep has bashed on my car trying to make a point about Vossen. His point? Acura has safety issues with their suspension and trans so why the hell should Vossen worry about their own safety concerns.

That is laughable at best. People have literally wrecked their cars due to vossens not holding up and they want to claim that is the same as acura suspensions making an annoying sound.

Bunch of rejects they are.

You missed my point. I am not upset that they swung. I am upset that they swung at what was a ball, not a strike.
There are no safety concerns with acura's suspension. They make a thudding sound. Not all. Maybe 1 in 100 do it. Mine never has. BUT they dont fail. They just make noise.
How on earth is that comparative to a Vossen wheel breaking off at the hub letting the car frame smash onto the street? How is that even close to comparable?

Vossen pushes a product that is not tested as safe by anyone but themselves. Further more, they dont release HOW they test their wheels like most reliable companies do like Weds, Volk, Work, etc etc.

When I asked the first time if they were certified I was given a real response. I was told they are currently in testing for a TUV certification and it should be in place as they release their new forged line.

Fast forward to the new forge line being released. I asked if one of their new forged wheels was certified. The rep remembered me and the conversation that I posted above took place. I simple asked if they were TUV certified yet (as well why they tagged the pic ILX when there was no ILX) and they responded by treating my like a child saying they already explained it to me.
Explained what?! That you were TRYING to get certified? Awesome. Now I am here to see how the TRYING went. Obviously it went poor and the wheels were NOT certified.

As I said. Bunch of jokers. More like clowns.
