I own a '15 ILX (base package). It has tail/break lights on the back bumper, and on the trunk lid. Are the lights on the trunk supposed to light up as well? Or are they just reflectors. I have no idea. Pretty sure I saw my same exact model driving in front of me the other day and they had theirs light up.

edit: I generally use the reflection of glass fronted stores to check my lights periodically.

 

Thank you for the reply. Interestingly enough, I called the service department earlier, and they said that those lights dont light up.

 

That's amusing after seeing bulbs in their parts catalog in that link.

 

The 2013-2015 model year has "NO" lights in the lower bumper (this is a reflector only) and "NO" lights in the trunk portion either, except white reverse lights.

 

You might have seen a 2016+ model which is the first MMC. Those revised taillights do light up in the trunk portion and are full LED.
