Car leaning to the right
Car leaning to the right
hello fellow ILX owners I just got a 2106 ILX techplus about a week ago, I noticed it is kind of not centered and leaning to the right; I let my friend drive it for a while and noticed the pull also. I biught it back to Acura for service and they said the alignment is correct and probably it's some certain road in South Florida that's giving me the pull. which I didnt believe of course..do you guys experience this at some point??

Cross slope describes the slope of a roadway perpendicular to the centerline. If a road were completely level, water would drain off it very slowly. This would create problems with hydroplaning, and ice accumulation in cold weather.
In tangent (straight) sections, the road surface cross slope is commonly 1-2% to enable water to drain from the roadway. Cross slopes of this size, especially when applied in both directions of travel with a crown point along the centerline of a roadway are commonly referred to as "normal crown" and are generally imperceptible to traveling motorists.

To see if a road surface you're experiencing the pull on is level or not, you can take a tennis ball or something similar, place it on the middle of the road, and see if it rolls off toward the edge. If it does, then the pull is likely being caused by the road.
Did the service person at the Acura dealer provide you with a print out of the alignment results? The print out will tell you if the alignment is good or not.
