i havent detailed the interior yet.. I spent all day yesterday doing just the exterior. Maybe 7-8 hours on both cars?? I was sore all of today because of it.

I'll get to the interior in a few days.. I got a pic of the SLK interior. But haven't detailed it yet either, so its kind of dirty right now.

Compared to our ilx?? Hahaha the slk has a beautiful interior and very nicely appointed ergonomics... But it's expected from a $60k compared to our $30k car and even then ours is a bit lacking in some areas for a $30k price bracket car.

lol I wasn't even comparing, but rather speaking generally. I'm ok with the ilx interior, though.

yup. I like the ILX interior, very simple and understated. But sometimes I feel the interior of my impreza feels a bit nicer to sit in.

and this is a $20k from 14 years ago.. although, with a lot of work done.

It's surprising what a clean car + some great photography can do for a car. That interior looks sharp

Lol, you can't have the tl in your sig if you don't own the car anymore...that's false advertising.

yup. but even then its not really fast. at my most aggressive setup, it was pushing 320whp and 360lbft. I'm not into going fast on the straights though. I like taking it to autocrosses, until I started building the little impreza.

oh wow.. whyd you get rid of the 2011 sti? its a lot more car and i would think better value for the money.

more power, more room, better interior, awd, etc.. other than the ILX being more gas efficient, what made you want to make the trade? I bought the ILX separately as a daily beater so I can start building up my subaru more for the track and less for the streets.

Better interior on the sti? Unless it's a limited edition, I'm not sure about that one. I'd say even, at best. I was about to get one before the TSX (just over a year ago).

I can't agree with the interior comment.. I have seen many a Subie interior and was never impressed. They are dope machines though.

I'm not sure about the STI interior, but i do think the legacy's interior is much more refined.

It was definitely an economical decision. I was paying a lot of money for it per month, it was terrible on gas, and I recently moved in with my girlfriend so it was time for me to part with it. I'm kinda glad I did because my payments are lower as well as my insurance and the amount of money spent on gas. I had good times with the STI but it was time to move on.

The ILX is a great car for what it is. The best description I've heard of it is that it's a Civic Si in a tuxedo. I'd have to say that it's a pretty accurate assessment. I took delivery about 2 weeks ago and it seems great so far. As soon as my trial period is over on here I'll post up some pics.

nice! yeah, I was debating between the BRZ and ILX actually.. But i ended up with the ILX. The ILX was made much more sense in terms of every day driving, front wheel drive, and roomier. And the day I wanted to test drive the BRZ, it was snowing heavily. Thats when I realized, I wont be able to daily the BRZ and have a project car on the side.

I thought about a BRZ as well. I even considered an FR-S because I work at a Toyota/Scion dealer. As much as I liked both vehicles, it just wasn't very practical for those exact reasons you stated. The ILX seems to suit me just fine and I know once it's broken in it will be a blast.
