Hey guys,

I'm planning to do a EL wire install on the door panels on my 2019 ILX. I'm ready to pull the 'check-out' trigger on the lights but I'm unsure if wiring is possible.

I'll need to tap into a 12v source in each of the 4 doors. I've read on some forums that the window switches might be where I'd need to tap.

So my question(s) is/are,

Where is the best place to tap the EL wire that'll have constant power (only when the car is on) and is the window switch a good option?

Thanks in advance for the help. If everything goes smoothly ill probably do a whole write-up for others who want to do the same. Im planning to add sound deadening and rear taillight sequential LED's, both of which I'll include in the write-up.
