What happened to Kenwood??
The only Kenwood home audio products I still own are from my high school days. They are currently being used for the garage and workshop. They're old, but still sound great and hit hard.
Except for a few receivers, it looks like they completely pulled out of the Home Audio market and put all their resources towards car audio. Is this true or am I missing something?
Back in the day, they had some great HA equipment. Did they spin off or sell that portion of the biz? It's just sad that I can't find any of their HA products anymore. They were one of my favorite affordable home audio manufacturers from 10-15 years ago who made a quality product.
I actually don't even need anymore HA equipment right now, just curious why Kenwood doesn't seem to be in the game anymore.

Didn't Kenwood become part of the Infiinty and Harmon Kardon line?
My perception of Kenwood was that they were among the best for car audio...both of my head units in the mid 90's were Kenwoods. But like you, I can't say that I have seen them anywhere lately....

They are bankrupt. Basically the bank owns / is running the car division as that was making a small profit.
Kenwood and H/K are mutually exclusive.
I don't know who makes the car stuff now, but it is not the same mfg as the older KW car audio of past.
