What do you guys think about this monitor...

Gateway 21" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor

but $599

I saw this yesterday at BestBuy and I really liked it.

I actually just bought that exact same monitor about 2 months ago and it's great IMO.

I have yet to use the rotate feature.. I generally just leave it in the normal widescreen format. I have played with it though. Pretty cool, it automatically changes the orientation of the screen when you rotate the screen.

21" is big enough for my purposes. In fact, any bigger and I would have to keep turning my head left-right to see the entire thing.. Not something you want to do if you're on it all day long.

I have a 24" and feel like it's too small. If you're swinging your head around you're sittin too close to the TV!

you ca prob find a better deal on the monitor itself, I don't feel the value is there on that monitor.

ok so I got the monitor and I hooked it up to the laptop... and I'm getting no signal.

Did your tell your laptop to use the external monitor? There is usually some kind of function key combo.

Do you have the Dell version? If so I have the same one and I love it. I can never go back to a normal size monitor
