Vizio TV's

http://www.vizio.com/flat-panel-hdtvs/m470nv.html

What do you think about this? Worth it? I am looking at spending about 1500.00.

Looking between 42-47 inches. For now its going to be in my room, eventually in main living room.

$1500 can get you a bigger TV and a better TV. If you're really only needing a 42"-47" and your budget is $1500, I'd consider a brand other than vizio.

I have to agree. I am finding 50" TVs for under $1K. Known quality brands as well

I'm a rookie when it comes to TV's. I know about what 120hz do in compareson to 240hz and 60hz. But what about the ratio (1,000,000:1)example.

But lets say I look for tv's around the 1k to 1500.00, what do I look for?

I had picked this one because it was LED, 120hz, web enabled, nice size. LED seem to have good ratio. So I kinda saw it had it all. lol..

Helllppppppp. aahahhha

Thanks... I was comparing Samsungs on their site. How do their model #'s go, if the last 3 digits are higher, is it a better tv?

I was looking at:
LN46c630
LN46c610
LN46c650
LN46c670

Side by side they all pretty much the same. Wonder why price difference?

May have come out during different model years or it may have an added feature. You should be able to compare specs on the site.

Have this TV and love it plus best buy matched amazon's price. Only thing I kind of wish it had was the internet. I have an airport express with airfoil so I can stream pandora to my stereo but I really like how you could control pandora with the remote on the internet ready ones.

I agree with everyone else, $1,500 is too much for a Vizio. I own one and think it is a great LCD but I wouldnt pay $1,500 for one even if it is LED.

I love my Sharp Aquos 46 inch LCD TV I bought almost 1 year ago at Costco. It's a mid-range model...I don't remember the model number exactly. Paid $900 and change after sales tax.

My parents have a Vizio and I'm not a fan. It's an ok TV, but I wouldn't own one myself.

You could just pick up a bluray player that streams pandora. Most of the Samsung Bluray's have Pandora as well as a bunch of other web based features.

I've had my Vizio 42" 1080p LCD for almost two years with no issues and I'm very happy with it. I paid $7xx and change for it at Costco. One day I'd like to move that to the bedroom and purchase a 47"-55" LCD Vizio to take its place, maybe their Razor line?

I'm not too big on an elaborate system since I live in an apartment and just want something to do the job and stay current.

I had one with the same 42" specs but one or two years older. One morning a few months back it went 'pop' and the picture disappeared. I was under the old Coctco satisfaction warranty. The store swapped me into a Pana 42" w/720p. I couldn't be happier.

Search Vizio problems, there is lots of info. The repair would have required a circuit board I think $4-600. No more Vizio for me.
