SVS sub

Just ordered a new SVS sub - PB12-NSD!!!! http://www.svsound.com/products-sub-box-pb12nsd.

I have been reading about SVS subs for years now, and I finally got one. This one seems like a great deal. I dont have the space to get a larger one, and this one should do the trick. I will give everyone a good write up with pictures when I get it setup.

honestly I have been amazed with all of the very good reviews on ALL of their subs (not just the big expensive ones) that I have read over the past few years. and this is all from people who did not see the subs in person before they purchased them. I just really believe they put 100% into the product, and I cant wait to have it at my house!

finally got it setup last night - SVS got it out very quick, it actually was here last Friday but I was not there to sign for it. first off its big...looks like a real serious sub for sure. the fit and finish is top-notch, looks like a $1000+ sub, I was very impressed before I even hooked it up! and the port...HUGE 4 inch diameter and flares to 7 inches on both ends.

Now I still have to set it up properly, but I dialed it in for now with my ears. I have it in the front left corner of my room. I just ran though a few movies and music last night and the main thing I noticed what how low the sub plays and how it really feels like it "powers" out the sound. Even at low volumes I heard some very low tones and really felt them in my chest.

More to come and I will take some pictures but for now I am 110% satisfied with this product - amazing for never seeing or hearing it before I purchased it.

Great Choice!

I've got a PCi 25-31 and I smile every time I crank my stereo!
Never a hint of distortion, port chuffing or bottoming out the woofer.

The "Ring Drop" in Lord of the Rings - part 1, where Sauron's fingers gets cut off and falls to the ground and then a huge earthquake starts. Holy hell that scene rattles the teeth and the rafters!

Remember to calibrate the system and have a blast!

All Klipsch. The KLF-20s for the fronts - KLF C7 for the center and small Klipsch speakers for the surrounds. I have the Denon AVR 2805 receiver also. Really the Klipsch speakers are way overkill, but I hope to build a real home theater room where I think they will shine. I really love those speakers also - it is amazing how loud speakers with 2 10 inch woofers with mid and high range horns can go!

There is no way this sub can keep up with them if I really crank it as loud as I could (I never do anymore anyway though). But for how I use the system now, this sub looks to be the best purchase yet.
