How do I get recorded shows from DVR to computer? I have a Motorola Comcast HD DVR.

 

I forgot where the link was but I was inquiring at avsforum.com. They had all the DVRs with all the services and it listed how you can do this. If I find the link, I'll link it here.

 

Thanks man. I think I saw that, but I'm not sure. If it requires me to download a bunch of software and programs to make it work, then the heck with it. I'll just use a video capture device or something.

 

I think I may have to do the video capture thing via Firewire. I have a port on my computer, and the Comcast (Motorola) DVR also has a Firewire port. Now I have to figure out how to find a cable long enough (about 20 ft. or so to go through the walls and attic).
