Samsung LN52A580

Im looking for a 52 inch tv. Saw the 580 and liked it. Anyone have this tv? Opinions? Seen it at best buy for 1599 and seems like a good price. Not overpriced or under.

Didnt feel it was smarted to spend 2600 on a tv. Especially the way they have been dropping and new led tvs are out. Dont know much about the difference in refresh rate.

Where the hell did you see someone selling a 650 for 2600?!?
You should be able to get it for about 1500-1800ish.

Wait....unless that's in canadian dollars.

Scratch that. Found out sears is willing to match frys so i am canceling my order with best buy. Now thinking of either the 650 for 1799 or 750 for 1849. Might even get them to beat that price by 10 precent so lets see. Whats the difference? They seem exactly alike to me. Going to pull the trigger on the 650 most likely by 5pm so if you can help me out before id appreciate it thanks.

I posted this in another thread.

From the avs forums.

Differences between the LNxxA650 and LNxxA750:

* 750 has an integrated woofer
* 16-bit processor vs. 12-bit in 650 (10-bit panel in both)
* 750 has DLNA features (can stream audio/video/etc. over a home network)
* 750 can play video off of DLNA/USB flash drive. 650 limited to images/audio
* 750 comes with 1GB internal flash memory pre-loaded with HD pictures, games, recipes, and a few other things
* 750's controls on the bezel have a red backlight. 650's controls have no backlight
* 750 has a square bezel compared to the 650's rounded bezel
* 750 has a square stand compared to the 650's oval stand
* 750 stand does not swivel (contrary to Samsung's literature)

Not much really. You may want to pocket the $50

Even if the 750 has the woofer, sound still sucks on these lcds right? Doesnt the 16 bit and 12 bit processor even do anything much? Thanks for the info. What are you thought on the prices?

I don't use the speakers in mine, but they are pretty good for an LCD. The ability to play files off a flash drive or network on the 750 is worth the $50 more IMHO.

Never buy from Best Buy.
They will rape you in the ass.
I know there are other websites out there, but amazon has always had those LCD's HUNDREDS!!! ....and I mean HUNDREDS cheaper than Best Buy.

Well in that case, you can just mail that PS3 to me.
I'll even pay for shipping.
