Picked up Sammy 5087

If you are in the market for a 1080p TV, Frys.com has the HLS5087W for $1500. If you have a Fry's in your area, Circuit City may be able to match it. I got mine matched at 110% of the difference to $1500 and I got the free Samsung XM/MP3 player.

TV is nice....I had the 5088 a few months ago but returned it some problems. The 5087 and 5088 are identical in picture....there are just a few more features on the 88 than the 87 that I think I can live without. Plus, I'm saving over $600 be using this price match.

Happy TV hunting!

forgot to add....used my discover card to save an additional 5% (well, up to $1000).

so far, i have exchanged the tv once due to some power supply noise (high pitched whine, wasn't sure if it was a fan or not) when it was off. new one is quiet....picture geometry is pretty good except a little pincushioning while watching 4:3 channels. i think i can live with it since i won't see that while watching HD material.

good buy for anyone in the market for 1080p. frys.com still has it for $1500, so a price match from CC would still be good to go.
