its misleading, lcd is different than projection, i would never buy a tv from walmart IMO, not even 1080p, it is definately projection, not LCD

It's an LCD TV, but not a "regular" LCD like you're thinking.

It's a rear projection LCD... so it uses LCD technology, but is still a rear projection.
