OW Link?

Finally optical cable technology comes to home theater...basically with this you can have everything in one room and run the signal on multiple tvs. You would need an HDMI switcher or hdmi upconverting receiver.

One of the more reliable ways to run hdmi runs over 50 feet.
High bandwidth: DLI interface can transmit data at a baud rate of 3.125GBPS, 6.25GBPS, 12.5GBPS, or higher.

High quality: Fiber interface has a typical error rate thousands of times lower than that of copper transmission media. The end result will be better video/audio quality with less interruption.

Longer distances: DLI Fiber interface can transmit data to a distance of up to 1-2 kilometers, which far exceeds the distance limitations of a few feet as with the copper HDMI/DVI cables.

Easy and clean installation: The DLI interface offers a fish line type of transparent single fiber that can be easily connected between DVD and TV. Unlike the black thick HDMI/DVI cables, the transparent optical fiber is flexible enough to be routed easily from any where inside the house. Installations are very clean since the DLI cable is transparent and difficult to be noticed.

Extra Service: Besides the video data transmission, the DLI link can also transmit high-definition audio data, control data and network data.

Ease of Installation : Due to the invisible nature of the DLI Fiber Optic Cable, the cable can be installed on the wall and through most doors. Finally, there is a solution that prevents having to break open walls to pull through cables

IR REPEATING OVER DLI™: THE MOST CONVENIENT WAY FOR USER CONTROL
In the typical video/audio set up, your DVD player or set top box is normally placed near by your TV display. If the DVD player or Set-top box is placed a little further from the TV, you are required to move your eyes away from the TV to point your remote controller directly to the DVD player or Set-top box in order to control the equipment (change channel, play, pause etc.). This is very inconvenient with IR types of controls. If the DVD or set top box is located in a different room, the control with the standard Infrared remote controller virtually becomes impossible. The IR repeating function provided by OWLink’s DLI technology is the solution to this problem.
With our patented IR repeating over DLI scheme, the user can point the remote control directly at the TV to control the Set-top box or DVD player that may be installed at virtually any place of the house.
The DLI device receives the remote control signals at the TV side with its built-in IR receiver and passes those signals to the DVD player or Set-top box side via the DLI link to the other DLI device. When the signals arrives, this DLI device will regenerates the remote control signals and transmit it via the IR blaster to control the device.
