I have no idea if it's even possible. but is there a piece of equipment i can get, mayb e a processor or Eq, to control what I hear throught he speakers?
Basically now that playoff hockey is here, I want to block out the announceers and just hear the sound from the mics on the rink. No offense to announcers, but they mostly suck, and I can make all the calls myself esp. w/ HD now. I currently watch the games on mute with music on.
I really just can't stand the announcers, half of them are blind.
So any ideas?

IF the game is broadcast in 5.1 you could turn down or disconnect the F/C/L speakers and just listen to the surround speakers. I don't think the play-by-play is fed into the surround channels. Otherwise, I think you're screwed.
