Will this be the new question for 2008? Both claiming cheaper and better, but is this another BR vs. HD dvd sort of thing that needs waiting out? Technology is moving so fast, that they will soon be outpacing the consumers ability to keep up. It appears these "brand X or brand Z" questions will be more commonplace as manufacturers keep pushing newer and newer formats.

neither will succeed. OLED is the future.

SED is essentially vaporware. Laser could find it's way to dominance in the front projection market, that's about it.

 

Yeah, SED is more or less dead. OLED is where it's at.
