My cat never paid attention to my old Colortrak TV. With the new Samsung 4671, she will watch the entire broadcast of SportsCenter as well as news shows with tickers. The cat will not blink her eyes for entire show.

Of course the Sunrise Earth series on HDTV will get her charging the TV to catch the birds. I'm thinking of taping her behavior so the insurance will pay off.

It's crazy, but the resolution improvement over 20 years is incredible.

 

LOL. Very similar to my cat. My husband had discovery channel HD and it was a show about sharks/ fish and other underwater creatures. She got up on the TV stand and sat about....an inch away from it (50 inch TV vs. 7 lb. cat). She stared at it for the longest time and then tried to swat at the shark swimming by. No marks....just playful swatting.

It was too cute.
