Loft series are okay.. I'm guessing you saw the deal. They go on sale a few times a year. I listened to them at Frys the last time they went on sale. I don't remember them being stellar, sound wasn't murky or warm. Highs and mids were fine.. I was just meh about them, so I didn't pick them up, but I was a Frys so they might sound a lot better in the house and not blown to shit. Might as well try them out. If you don't like them, use them in another room.

That's what I was thinking, if I don't like them I can throw them in my garage and use them out there.

Yea, I saw the deal.

Alternatively, B10s on sale.. good for rear duty. Micca's too (not familiar with them but interesting).
Klipsch B10s.. $69 (frys) FRYS.com|KLIPSCH

Micca MB42.. $50 (Amazon, MB42x are $79)

Shit thanks Joe. I appreciate it. I'll take a look at the links and see what it's all about. Good thing I checked Azine.

My buddy loves his Onkyo TX NR-525 he was able to snag that receiver on a deal for about $180... I'm trying to find it too but looks like everyone is selling them between 250+ Maybe I'll buy his off of him. I was to have my system done by the 4th of July. Sub speakers everything...

I like the way those Dv62si's look. I may snag those.. $115 for the pair is pretty good. Shit I was going to pay $80 for some Polks. What's $35 more dollars.

Yeah, the F12. I love it. Plus full 5 year warranty on woofer and amp, all incl. There's also a downfiring version but it doesn't have 5 year and I think they discontinued it, but also a very good sub. The BIC Acoustech pl200 was recently on sale for 250, it's range is a bit lower and is more efficient. Best sub in their lineup but still budget priced.

Only for light duty/rears.. the B series also have a rear port, so you don't want to mount it snug against a wall. Not sure if that's going to work on those corner mounts (might need a new mount).

Damn, I'll just get those DV62s... See how it sounds, then decide if I want to upgrade those polks..

I have Bose outside, so I hope they are in still good condition..

ah I see the ivory pair is $100 on Amazon.. I'm not familiar with them. They do seem to have a nice profile for rears.

Yeah, $100-140 is about my target range. I just spent a bunch of money on the studios, just want something nicer and newer than the rears that were thrown in

Z says they have zero bass / mid-bass, but you have freaking 3 12"s.. too much bass.

He also says these are the best monitor speakers he's heard (better than Miccas, if you add sub). Just throw in a sub, tune it and listen away. FR starts at 80 Hz. Sounds like a solid pair of rears or monitors + sub. The Micca MB42 are $50 right now and MB42x is $80.. so if you want to save a little money, get those if the profile works for you.

I was originally looking at a 7.1 receiver for that room, but it's such a small space, I just can't see where I would put 2 more speakers
