This wont happen.
Ethernet's data transfer cant produce the uncompressed audio/video that HDMI does due to its limitations of 1GBps. HDMI does 10.2GBps.
Sound especially will be compressed which would suck for our audiophiles. DTS-HD Master Audio in particular would not transmit through Ethernet let alone TOS-Link. That is a pure HDMI sound file format. 90% of all Blu Ray movies have the fully DTS Master Audio uncompressed audio track on their movies. Sound like that, hell, if you have a home theater in the range of $4000+, you'll be damn sure to hear the difference between base DTS and Master Audio.
Becareful on this marketing.
Video wise, ethernet will not transmit the full 1080p/24 or 1080p/60 either due to the data rate. There will always be a video issue with most definite streaming video/audio.
Also, having these few extra features over an HDMI Ethernet Channel will definitely sacrifice both audio/video. I know I wont be satisfied being an audiophile/videophile.
